Parts have become much less relevant in that sense. The better route to "I want more power now" is actually abusing the heck out of sacrificing dark knight for the exp book drop, because it also paves way for developing your A team quicker. Poorly constructed RNG without means of improvement will only take away sense of progression. There's also no point in swapping parts once a minion has all purples anymore, since the bonus has changed from random stats to flat bonus points.Īnd it's also frustrating to be burning tons of white parts and hoping something will stick, only to repeat it again with blue parts for even less chance of getting purple parts. An extra level up is 8 points across the board, so to speak. IIRC a purple part gives 14 stat points, or you can focus on hitting altars + dark knight for the exp book. It also renders part upgrading less attractive. It also locks you out of alternate builds unless you mod minion access to stat - want to let Bride level up a couple armor points? Gotta mod it in first. And because the parts no longer give random stats, but flat stat points instead, getting a purple part to drop feels far more rewarding due to the lack of apparent "farming" up white parts. I think the more concerning part is that the Transmutation % is ridiculously low for purple parts even when you are well off onto developing your A team.
